Epoxies for Simple Application, Longevity, and Non-Yellowing Coatings

Daicel’s cycloaliphatic epoxies find excellent use in a variety of coatings that require improved outdoor resistance and operation in hostile environments, coupled with better performance and prolonged longevity. Our epoxies are the perfect choice for protective coatings due to their low viscosities, good adhesion properties, non-yellowing characteristics, chemical resistance, and low water absorption. Toughening and flexibility modifications can be made to coating formulations through the incorporation of our epoxidized polybutadienes and thermoplastic elastomer. We also offer an epoxy methacrylate that is employed as the main component of radical and UV-curable coatings for electronics.
