MBA – Solvent

MBA (3-methoxybutyl acetate) is one of Daicel’s organic solvents. In addition to its conventional use as a solvent for coatings, it has recently been adopted as an important solvent in the manufacturing process of liquid crystal resists.

This product is one of the main solvents for resist products in the electronics industry and is also a functional solvent that improves processability when used as a diluent.

MMPGAC – Solvent

MMPGAC is also known as Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate (PGMEA).

In addition to its traditional use in coatings, Daicel’s organic solvents have recently been adopted in many semiconductor-resist manufacturing processes for advanced applications. PGMEA is one of the primary solvents for photoresist products in the electronic materials industry that improve processability.
