										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our caprolactone-modified acrylate (FA-series) and methacrylate (FM-series) reactive monomers contain caprolactone chains with a primary hydroxyl end-functionality. These unique hydroxyl-terminated caprolactone-modified (meth)acrylic monomers (HCL(M)As) are incorporated in various acrylic resin systems where they can be subsequently crosslinked with isocyanate or melamine crosslinking agents. The primary hydroxyl moiety reacts particularly well with conventional melamine-formaldehyde crosslinking agents and multi-functional isocyanates to afford high performance coatings, adhesives and films. These caprolactone acrylate monomers are also used in the preparation of UV curable urethane acrylates and UV curable acrylate formulations where the wide range of viscosities of the oligomeric monomers provide good formulating latitude.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The EPOLEAD PB series is epoxidized polybutadiene which DAICEL Corporation commercialized with its epoxidation technique with peracetic acid.</p>
<p>The series, which has a lower epoxy equivalent than conventional epoxidized polybutadiene, is characterized by being excellent in compatibility with bis-A-type and cresol novolac-type epoxy resins.</p>
<p>EPOLEAD PB is cured with a phenol resin or the like as a curing agent to provide cured product excellent in flexibility, and hence may be used for applications such as a can coating agent or the like.</p>
<p>Further, it may also be cured with an acid anhydride as a curing agent to provide cured product which is excellent in transparency and has reduced stress. It could be used in semiconductor sealant and similar applications.</p>
<p>EPOLEAD PB may also be used as a cationic electrodeposition paint or an aqueous paint through a reaction with an amine compound.</p>
<p>In addition, it is also applicable to a printed circuit board material and cationic coating.</p>
